Chapter 5 — Working of Institutions Democracy is not just about electing leaders as the elected government must have to follow some set of rules and procedures to govern the country. Also, students will get to know about three major institutions of the country namely legislature, judiciary, and executive. Furthermore, this chapter shows how the connection between these institutions.

The purpose here is to understand how all these institutions together carry on the work of the government. Democratic politics advocates a fair system of equality and freedom and tries to instill a sense of freedom of thought within an individual.
